The Borgo is nestled in a Nature Reserve, offering stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills, patterned with groves and orchards. This guarantees our guests an experience of total privacy and quiet.
The resort is built around a charming pebble-paved square. It includes six spacious apartments, a reception with a wine cellar and a local product shop, a light-filled hall for meetings and events, a restaurant with vaulted ceilings, a swimming pool and a lovely chapel.

It  is a certified organic farm. Our produce is grown using organic and sustainable practices with an eye to traditional methods of production and harvesting. Environmental and microclimatic conditions in this area of Tuscany are nothing short of ideal and this enables the production of top quality organic goods. Our produce includes grains (wheat, barley, oats), fodder, lumber and truffle (black, white and scorzone variety).
We take special pride in our extra-virgin olive oil, of which we produce over 3000 liters a year. Our extra-virgin olive oil is organic and ICEA-certified: cold pressed and unfiltered, it is bottled at the Fregoli olive mill in Pienza, a long-standing collaborator of Sant’Ambrogio organic farm.

This 15th-century residence lays on the green hills between Fiesole and Florence, approximately 15 minutes from Florence and approx 35 minutes from Prato. Everything is accessible by foot, bus, or taxi.
The origins of this prestigious property date back to the 15th century. Its enormous estate covers an area of nearly 300 hectares and is located on the beautiful green hills overlooking Florence. The property includes a Villa, which is the ideal place for the celebration of weddings and receptions, and a Farmhouse with accommodations, where organic olive oil is also produced.
Protestant, Jewish, legally binding and Symbolic Wedding ceremonies can be held in the Italian Oak garden, in the private Chapel of the Villa or in the inside halls. Catholic ceremonies can be celebrated at a nearby church in the village of Maiano, at a 1-minute walk from the Villa (for large groups).

The areas of the Villa available for banquets are all the interiors on the ground floor, the garden with terrace over Florence, the Italian garden (on request).
Internal halls can accommodate up to 250 people while the areas outside can hold up to 300 guests. The largest hall is the Tapestry Hall that can accommodate up to 110 guests. All rooms have their original furniture.
Outdoor areas: beautiful large garden with an amazing panoramic terrace with the view of Florence. On request, the Italian and Oak gardens are available for welcome cocktails.
Your Wedding reception will be catered.  Customized menus will be draft according to spouses’ specifications.

Music with dancing is allowed outside the villa on the panoramic terrace until midnight. Dancing is allowed on the terrace, not on the lawn. Inside, music and dancing can take place in the Tapestry Hall and Carriage Hall till 1:00 am.
The Farmhouse complex is of apartments of different sizes and rooms with every comfort for a relaxing stay. They are all located in the estate, just a few steps away from the Villa. The whole estate can accommodate up to 71 people. Within the gardens of the Farmhouse, there is a lovely swimming pool with amazing panoramic views over the Tuscan hills, where guests can relax and enjoy their stay. A nice restaurant is also available for guests. Trekking and bike paths, internet access are available too.

It is not necessary to book all rooms of the villa to get the permission to organize a wedding on its grounds but they will request that you book a group of rooms according to the areas used for your event.
The Villa offers different options, each can be fully customized to your taste. Dinner with traditional Tuscan and Italian recipes, made with fresh ingredients and local produce; Barbecue dinner with handcrafted pasta, selected grilled meats and the renowned Bistecca alla Fiorentina (Florentine T-bone beefsteak); Gala dinner with the most refined recipes of fresh pasta, meat or fish dishes and desserts.
